India Araku Natural
“You shouldn’t give people fish, you should show them how to fish.” hat es die The cooperative has managed together with agricultural experts and its members to develop a unique system of agricultural process development, quality assurance, traceability and digital documentation. The members of the cooperative are continuously trained and supported in order to create a stable basis for their business. This is an example of how coffee cultivation can work even on a small scale. At the end of the day, partners need to find each other who are both willing to constantly learn and remain flexible. The world does not spare challenges and does not wait for our habits. This year we are expanding our coffee horizons to the Araku Valley in India and presenting this Arabica coffee of the varieties S9, S5 and S795 as our Christmas coffee. The coffee beans are processed in the cooperative as “natural”. During the drying process of approximately 26 days, care is taken to ensure that the trees provide shade at 75% of the time. This preserves the cell structure of the beans and the quality of the varieties is brought into a dry, storable form. This promises a nice body in the extract.
The flavour is presented the best in the preparation methods for espresso with its spicy and chocolaty notes. Merry Christmas!
